- Type-material: holotype worker, 5 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype Mexico: Veracruz, Sa. Teoviscocla, nr Cuichapa, 1600 m., 4.viii.1965, Cornell University Mexico Field Party (no collector’s name); paratypes: 2 workers Mexico: Veracruz, Cueva del Ojo de Agua Grande, 10 km. N Potrero Viejo (no collector’s name), 3 workers Mexico: Veracruz, Córdoba (no collector’s name).
- Type-depositories: MCZC (holotype); LACM, MIZA (paratypes).
- Distribution: Mexico.
