- andense. Apterostigma andense Lattke, 1997: 136, figs. 14, 32, 37, 47, 183 (w.q.m.) VENEZUELA.
- Type-material: holotype worker, 6 paratype workers, 1 paratype queen, 13 paratype males.
- Type-locality: holotype Venezula: Táchira, Palmira, nr San Cristóbal, 1200 m., 8.viii.1983, no. 336 (J. Lattke); paratypes: 5 workers, 1 queen, 13 males with same data, 1 worker Táchira, Fundación, Campamento Siberia, 1400 m., 13.vii.1989 (S. & J. Peck).
- Type-depositories: MIZA (holotype); BMNH, LACM, MCZC, MIZA, MZSP (paratypes).
- Status as species: Bezděčková, et al. 2015: 115.
- Distribution: Peru, Venezuela.
