A myrmecophilous genus of Staphylinidae: Aleocharinae: Lomechusini: Lomechusina. Lomechusoides is a strictly myrmecophilous genus with symphilic association to ants of the genus Formica Linnaeus, 1758 and more rarely Myrmica Latreille, 1804.
