- glauca. Formica rufibarbis var. glauca Ruzsky, 1896: 70 (w.) RUSSIA. [First available use of Formica fusca subsp. rufibarbis var. glauca Ruzsky, 1895: 20; unavailable name.] Emery, 1909b: 198 (q.m.). Combination in F. (Serviformica): Emery, 1925b: 250. Subspecies of rufibarbis: Emery, 1925b: 250; of cunicularia: Pisarski, 1967: 416; Dlussky, 1967a: 74; Tarbinsky, 1976: 184. Raised to species: Agosti & Collingwood, 1987a: 59. Senior synonym of katuniensis, montaniformis, montivaga, volgensis and material of the unavailable name minor referred here: Dlussky, 1967a: 74 (note that the name montaniformis is misspelled as montanoides here). Junior synonym of cunicularia: Atanassov & Dlussky, 1992: 267. Unidentifiable taxon, incertae sedis in Formica: Seifert, 2007: 301 [Note that Seiferts decision renders earlier taxonomy untenable].
