Identification
Makhan (2007) - Similar to Thaumatomyrmex contumax from Brazil, but there is a difference in the shape of mesosoma. The posterior side of the mesosoma is straight in Thaumatomyrmex soesilae, whereas the mesosoma is not straight in Thaumatomyrmex contumax.
