Diagnosis. Emery (1925). - "Worker. - Differs from Myrmotrema by the structure of the mesosoma:
Pronotum short, depressed, more-or-less marginate and shouldered; mesosoma strongly reduced posteriorly; meso-propodeal suture with more-or-less well-marked impression; propodeum depressed posteriorly and marginate, often bidentate.
Queen - not known to me.
Male - unknown.
