Ponera aliena

Holotype worker in The Natural History Museum. Labelled “Brazil, Swainson,” and “type. F. Sm. Coll. 79.22.” Another specimen, originally regarded as a second syntype of aliena, is a worker of Hypoponera gleadowi (Forel), according to a det. label applied by R.W. Taylor, 25.iv.1965.
