Distribution

This taxon was described from Rovno amber, Baltic Sea region, Europe (Priabonian, Late Eocene).

The following information is derived from Barry Bolton's Online Catalogue of the Ants of the World.

• †rav. †Eotemnothorax rav Radchenko, 2024: 739, Fig. 7A-F (w.) ROVNO AMBER (Eocene).

Type Material

• Holotype worker, complete specimen, Rovno amber, UA-28031 (SIZK).
• Paratype worker, Rovno amber, UA-28030 (SIZK); both holotype and paratype specimens were originally fossilized in the same piece of amber, which was cut in two during development.

Locality. Ukraine, Rivne Prov., Rovno amber, late Eocene, Priabonian age, 37.8–33.9 Ma.
