Known from a single locality in French Guiana: Cayenne, Nouragues Natural Reserve, Nouragues Research Station, Inselberg Station, Petit Plateau grid; 4.08354°N, 52.68368°W, ± 5 m; alt. 145 m; old-growth lowland terra-firme equatorial evergreen forest; in leaf litter at the base of an Astrocaryum palm (Arecaceae).
