- theryi. Cataglyphis theryi Santschi, 1921d: 76 (in text) (?) MOROCCO.
- Type-material: holotype “transverse ergatandromorph or ergatoid male?”.
- [Notes (i): Cagniant, 2009: 55, says of the holotype “only 2 hips (hanches) remain on the mount”; (ii) Cagniant’s designation of a neotype is redundant as numerous specimens are included; he says “Neotype and paratype workers, queens and males: MNHN. Material utilised: numerous workers, queens and males”.]
- Type-locality: Morocco: between Meknès and Azou (Théry).
- Type-depository: NHMB.
- Cagniant, 2009: 55 (w.q.).
- Subspecies of albicans: Emery, 1925b: 263.
