The following information is derived from Barry Bolton's Online Catalogue of the Ants of the World.

  • bilongrudi. Leptothorax bilongrudi Taylor, 1989b: 605, figs. 1-3 (w.q.) NEW GUINEA (Papua New Guinea).
    • Type-material: holotype worker, 11 paratype workers, 2 paratype queens.
    • Type-locality: holotype Papua New Guinea: West Sepik Prov., Victor Emmanuel Range, 5°07’S, 141°38’E, nr Telefomin, 1550 m., 17-19.viii.1984, no. 305 (R.J. Kohout); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: ANIC (holotype); ANIC, BMNH, BPBM, KUPC, MCZC, MHNG, QMBA.
    • Combination in Vombisidris: Bolton, 1991: 5.
    • Status as species: Bolton, 1991: 5; Bolton, 1995b: 423; Xu & Yu, 2012: 1497 (in key).
    • Distribution: Papua New Guinea.
