Description

Worker

Holotype. TL 2.0, HL 0.49, HW 0.37, CI 76, ML 0.24, MI 49, SL 0.29, SI 78, PW 0.22, AL 0.50. Fully closed mandibles in full-face view with outer margins feebly convex. Proximal preapical tooth on left mandible spiniform and twice as long as distal; space separating the two slightly greater than length of distal preapical tooth. Maximum width of scape slightly less than maximum diameter of eye. Erect hairs on first gastral tergite short and stiff, many of them slightly expanded apically. Side of alitrunk reticulate-punctate except for a clear patch on katepisternum. Postpetiole disc in profile low and evenly rounded, without a swollen appearance; disc with fine weak longitudinal striolae and some very feeble punctulae; sculpture weakest along mid-dorsal strip. In profile ventral spongiform lobe of postpetiole smaller than the exposed cuticle of the swollen disc.

Paratypes. TL 2.0-2.1, HL 0.53-0.55, HW 0.40-0.43, CI 74-76, ML 0.25-0.27, MI 46-49, SL 0.30-0.32, SI 75-77, PW 0.24-0.25, AL 0.52-0.55 (4 measured). As holotype but averaging slightly larger. Disc of postpetiole with more strongly developed punctulate sculpture and weaker striolae.
