Description
Worker
Holotype. TL 2.8, HL 0.76, HW 0.52, CI 68, ML 0.36, MI 47, SL 0.43, SI 83, PW 0.30, AL 0.74. Characters of signeae-complex. Inner margin of mandible with a very narrow cuticular crest that extends from base but peters out proximally well before level of preapical tooth; this crest no more than a minute rim or carina and at its broadest no more than a tiny fraction of the width of the mandible. Dorsolateral margin of head with a freely laterally projecting stiff hair just anterior to level of apex of scrobe and another in apicoscrobal position; margin posterior to this with 3-4 similar but shorter projecting hairs; hairs in this series gradually decrease in length from front to back. Cephalic dorsum with a transverse row of 6 erect hairs at occipital margin; without standing hairs anterior to this. Pronotal humeral hair simple, stiff; pronotal dorsum with a pair of short erect hairs at the extreme anterior margin. Mesonotum with 3 conspicuous pairs of erect hairs that are simple to weakly remiform, the anterior pair the longest. Dorsal surface of hind femur with a row of 3-4 straight short simple hairs that are elevated to about 45°. Pronotal dorsum feebly sculptured, shagreenate to superficially punctulate, may be effaced in places. Mesonotum and propodeal dorsum more strongly and regularly punctate. Side of alitrunk with pleurae and propodeum mostly to entirely smooth. Petiole node in dorsal view reticulate-punctate. In profile lateral spongiform lobe of petiole small, confined to posterolateral portion of node. Disc of postpetiole unsculptured. First gastral tergite with stout simple to apically blunted hairs.
Paratypes. TL 2.7-2.8, HL 0.72-0.76, HW 0.49-0.54, CI 67-71, ML 0.36-0.38, MI 47-50, SL 0.42-0.46, SI 83-88, PW 0.27-0.30, AL 0.70-0.74 (10 measured). As holotype but in some sculpture of pronotal dorsum very reduced.
