Description
Worker
Holotype. TL 1.5, HL 0.40, HW 0.32, CI 80, ML 0.06, MI 18, SL 0.16, SI 50, PW 0.20, AL 0.39. With the characters of the group and answering the general description of mnemosyne, but differing as follows.
1 Leading edge of scape with 1-2 elongate straight hairs that project anterodorsally.
2 Standing hairs on cephalic dorsum finer, longer and denser than in mnemosyne, not obviously arranged in transverse rows.
3 In profile posterior half of pronotal dorsum outline shallowly concave.
4 Standing hairs on dorsal alitrunk numerous and not arranged in distinct pairs.

Holotype worker, Malaysia: Sabah, mi. 43 Labuk Rd ex Sandakan (Lungmanis), 13.vi.1968, rainforest berlesate, acc.68.S27 (R. W. Taylor) (Australian National Insect Collection).
