Posterior clypeal margin with a transverse row of 4 very long erect filiform hairs that form a palisade between the clypeus and the remainder of the cephalic dorsum. These hairs are easily the longest and most conspicuous on the entire body. Clypeal dorsum anterior to this row without similar hairs. Head posterior to clypeus without stiff erect hairs. Promesonotum, waist segments and gaster with soft fine flexuous hairs only. Dorsum of head coarsely but irregularly rugulose. Promesonotal dorsum longitudinally rugose. Dorsal surface of petiole node longitudinally rugose; disc of postpetiole glassy smooth, its length in dorsal view greater than that of the posterior spongiform collar. First gastral tergite u n sculptured except for a dense uninterrupted band of basigastral costulae that are longer than the disc of the postpetiole.
Paratypes. TL 2.0, HL 0.59-0.62, HW 0.36-0.37, CI 60-63, ML 0.05, MI 8, SL 0.26-0.28, SI 72-76, PW 0.24-0.26, AL 0.55-0.58 (3 measured). As holotype but in two paratypes one of the long clypeal hairs has been abraded.
