Diagnosis
Colour dark brown, shiny; body weakly convex, broadly oval; covered with short setae, longer on margins. Frons coarsely and densely punctate; frontal stria cariniform, irregular, crossing epistoma; labrum truncate, with shallow medial depression; mandibles large, convex, rugose; antennal scape strongly enlarged, rugose, with short setae.
