- Type-locality: holotype Colombia: Valle del Cauca, P.N.N. Farallones de Cali (Anchicayá, 3°26’N, 76°48’W, 730 m.), 17-20.vii.2001, M.2849, Winkler (S. Sarria); paratypes: 1 worker with same data but 900 m., 16-18.i.2001, M.1566, 3 workers, 1 queen with same data but 730 m., 21-23.i.2001, no. 1571.
- Type-depositories: IAVH (holotype); IAVH, MIZA, MZSP (paratypes).
