The species in this group is a member of the subgenus Myrma.

Notes
Species included within the zopyra-group have the pronotal spines reduced to mere teeth, a petiole armed with four, more-or-less distinct teeth and more widely separared frontal carinae and a broader central area. Very similar to inermis-group species (see that group for distinctions between these two groups).
