This species was collected between 10–1625 m elevation, in montane rainforest, rainforest, montane ravine forest, montane shrubland, disturbed gallery montane forest, tropical forest, and montane forest. Nest were located in rotten logs, branches, and sticks on the ground, and dead twigs above the ground. Workers were collected from sifted litter (Salata & Fisher, 2020).
