- Type-material: lectotype worker (by designation of Yoshimura, Onoyama & Ogata, 2007: 93), 1 paralectotype worker.
- Type-locality: lectotype Japan: Okinawa, Ryukyu Is., 25.x.1907, no. 425 (K. Kuroiwa); paralectotype with same data.
- Type-depository: SEHU.
