- Type-locality: Morocco: Rabat (Théry).
- [Note: type-locality is certainly incorrect as the species is a Neivamyrmex.]

- Incertae sedis in Ecitoninae: Aktaç, Radchenko & Kiran, 2004: 363;
- incertae sedis in Neivamyrmex: new combination (unpublished).
