  • babuganicus. Leptothorax pithyusae subsp. babuganicus Arnol'di, 1977a: 201 (w.) UKRAINE (Crimea).
    • Type-material: holotype worker, 4 paratype workers.
    • Type-locality: holotype Ukraine: Crimea, Gorny, 6.vi.1947 (K.V. Arnol’di); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depository: ZMUM.
    • [Note: Arnol’di, 1977a: 198, said that type-material was deposited in ZISP, but Radchenko, 1995c: 16, found it in ZMUM.]
    • Subspecies of pithyusae: Arnol’di & Dlussky, 1978: 542 (in key).
    • Subspecies of tauricus: Bolton, 1995b: 236.
    • Junior synonym of tauricus: Radchenko, 1995c: 16; Radchenko, 2016: 228
