- Type-material: holotype worker, 25 paratype workers, 4 paratype queens.
- Type-locality: Russia: Caucasus, Krasnodar Krai, Gelendzhik, Dzhankhot, 8.vi.1956 (K.V. Arnol’di).
- Type-depository: ZMUM.
- [Note: Arnol’di, 1977a: 198, said that type-material was deposited in ZISP, but Radchenko, 1995c: 16, found it in ZMUM.]
- Status as species: Arnol'di & Dlussky, 1978: 542 (in key); Arakelian, 1994: 57.
