Lasius nitidus (Kuznetsov-Ugamsky, 1927) |
This taxon is considered to be unidentifiable and its identity is uncertain. It was collected at the Kara Su river, 65 km NE Tashkent, Uzbekistan and was reported to differ from Lasius niger by a more shining cuticular surface. Considering which species potentially occur at the type locality, the description might possibly refer to dark color variants of Lasius flavescens or Lasius uzbeki (Seifert, 2020; Boudinot et al., 2022).
