- Type-material: holotype worker, 31 paratype workers, 5 paratype queens, 7 paratype males.
- Type-locality: holotype Spain: Huesca, Sariñena, 9.vii.1980 (X. Espadaler); paratypes: 3 workers with same data, 12 workers, 5 queens, 2 males with same data but 6.vi.1989, 10 workers, 5 males with same data but 10.viii.1989, 4 workers Ciudad Real, Almedina, Guedea, 11.vi.1986 (X. Espadaler), 1 worker Albacete, Ossa de Montiel, 28.iv.1989 (X. Espadaler), 1 worker Cádiz, Guadiaro, 7.vii.1959 (S. Erlandsson).
- Type-depositories: XEPC (holotype); MCZC, MNHN, XEPC (paratypes).
