- Type-material: holotype worker, 6 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype Panama: Chiriquí, Fortuna area, Finca La Suisse, 12.vi.1995, #1777 (R. Anderson); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: MCZC (holotype); CASC, IAVH, MCZC, MIZA, WEMC (paratypes).
- Status as species: Camacho, et al. 2020: 458 (in key); Camacho, Franco, Branstetter, et al. 2022: 11.
- Distribution: Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama.
