- pusilla. Formica pusilla De Geer, 1773: 612, pl. 31, figs. 23, 24 (w.) SURINAM. Unidentifiable to genus; incertae sedis in Formica: Bolton, 1995b: 202. [Latreille, 1802c: 263, gives pusilla as a senior synonym of nana Latreille, but the latter is also unrecognisable. Similarly Retzius, 1783: 76, gives pusilla as a junior synonym of omnivora, another unidentifiable name.] Junior synonym of omnivora: Botlon, unpublished.
