- Type-material: holotype queen.
- Type-locality: Papua New Guinea (“N.G. Merid.”): Kapa Kapa (L. Loria).
- [Note: Wilson, 1958d: 353, writes that the holotype bears the data, “Moroka, 1300 m., N. Guinea S E, vii-ix.’93 (Loria)”. He notes that this contradicts the originally cited type-locality.]
- Type-depository: MSNG.
