One of about thirty-five species of myrmecophilous Cremastocheilus. The host ant is Formica.

Identification

Body black; posterior margin of mentum acutely notched; anterior angles small, slightly elevated, wholly isolated by a deep grooe extending from the cavities to sides; posterior angles very strongly retracted, polished separated by an oblique groove; elytra with oval punctures; hind tarsi compressed, shorter than tibiae.
