- Type-material: lectotype minor worker (by designation of Sarnat & Economo, 2012: 50), 12 paralectotype minor workers.
- Type-locality: lectotype Fiji Is: Viti Levu, Nadarivatu, 1915-16 (W.M. Mann); paralectotypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: USNM (lectotype); MCZC, USNM (paralectotypes).
