- loa. Camponotus (Colobopsis) loa Mann, 1919: 373, figs. 45, 46 (s.w.) SOLOMON IS (San Cristobal).
- Type-material: syntype major and minor workers (numbers not stated, “numerous”).
- Type-locality: Solomon Is: San Cristobal I. (= Makira I.), Wai-ai, 19.v.-24.xi.1916 (W.M. Mann).
- Type-depository: USNM (perhaps also MCZC).
- Combination in Colobopsis: Ward, Blaimer & Fisher, 2016: 350.
- Status as species: Emery, 1925b: 148; Wheeler, W.M. 1935g: 42; Bolton, 1995b: 109; McArthur, 2012: 30; Sarnat, et al. 2013: 70.
