- Status as species: Dalla Torre, 1893: 216; Bolton, 1995b: 134 (error); Borowiec, L. 2014: 53 (error).
- Unidenifiable taxon; incertae sedis in Cataglyphis: Agosti, 1990b: 1495.
- Distribution: Egypt.
