- Type-localities: South Africa: Natal, Stamford Hill, 26.i.1905 (I. Trägårdh) (invalid restriction of type-locality by Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 960; no lectotype designated), South Africa: Natal, Durban, 22.xii.1904 (I. Trägårdh), South Africa: Zululand, Dukudu, 27.vii.1905 (I. Trägårdh).
- Type-depository: NHMB (perhaps also NHRS).
