- Type-material: syntype major and minor workers, syntype queen(s) (numbers not stated).
- Type-locality: Singapore: 13 : 15, 103 (no further data), (xi.1912-vi.1914) (H. Overbeck).
- Type-depository: MNHU (perhaps also SMTD).
- Subspecies of bedoti: McArthur, 2012: 94 (error).
