- Type-material: holotype (?) minor worker.
- [Note: no indication of number of specimens is given, but Hashmi, 1973: 119, records type-material as only one specimen MHNG.]
- Type-locality: Brazil: (no further data) (received from G. Mayr).
- Type-depository: MHNG (perhaps also NHMW).
- Combination in C. (Myrmothrix): Forel, 1914a: 269.
