- Type-material: holotype worker, 19 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype China: Sichuan Prov., Xichang City, 6.vii.1986 (M. Wang); paratypes: 14 workers with same data, 2 workers China: Yunnan Prov., Anning County, 17.xi.1987 (J. Wu & C. Wang), 3 workers Yunnan Prov., Chenggong County, 30.vi.1940 (no collector’s name).
- Type-depositories: CAFB (holotype); BAUC, CAFB (paratypes).
