    • Type-material: syntype major and minor workers (numbers not stated, “a number”), 1 syntype male.
    • Type-localities: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Belgian Congo”): Ubangi Dist., Duma, 10.x.1910 (Schubotz) (invalid restriction of type-locality by Wheeler, W.M. 1922a: 983; no lectotype designated), Congo (“French Congo”): Fort Possel to Fort Crampel, xi.1910 (Schubotz), Congo: Fort Crampel, 6.i.1911 (Schubotz).
