- Type-material: holotype worker, 1 paratype worker.
- Type-locality: holotype Panama: Darien, Caña, 7°43’N, 77°42’W, 1050 m., 24.viii.1987, no. 767 (D. Olson); paratype with same data.
- Type-depositories: MCZC (holotype); PSWC (paratype).
- Distribution: Panama.
