    • Type-localities: Mexico: Veracruz, Orizaba (Sumichrast) (invalid restriction of type-locality by Kempf, 1972a: 73; no lectotype designated), Mexico: Veracruz, Córdoba (Sumichrast).
    • [Notes (i): type-localities from Norton, 1868a: 60; (ii) material was originally sent “to the Smithsonian Institution (= USNM) from Mexico by Prof. Sumichrast”.]
    • Type-depository: unknown (no material known to exist).
