- Type-material: syntype major and minor workers (numbers not stated), 1 syntype queen.
- Type-locality: Democratic Republic of Congo (“Congo”): (no further data) (R. Mayné) (received from Schouteden).
- Type-depository: MHNG (perhaps also MRAC, MRHN).
