- Type-locality: holotype Cuba: Pinar del Rio, Sierra de los Organos, Sierra de San Andrés, Mogote La Fonte, xi.1990 (J.L. Fontenla); paratype: Pinar del Rio, Sierra de los Organos, Sierra de Mesa, Ceja de San Francisco, iii.1994 (J.L. Fontenla).
- Type-depository: ACHC.
- Distribution: Cuba.
