- Type-material: holotype minor worker.
- Type-locality: Ecuador: Galapagos Is, Floreana I., Postoffice Bay, 20-30.ix.1925 (A. Wollebaek’s Norwegian Zoological Expd.) (no collector’s name).
- Type-depository: unknown (perhaps MNHU or NNHM).
