- Type-material: 4 syntype major workers, syntype minor workers (number not stated, “numerous”).
- Type-localities: Guyana (“British Guiana”): Kartabo (W.M. Wheeler) (invalid restriction of type-locality by Kempf, 1972a: 49; no lectotype designated), Guyana: Mazaruni River, Kaow I. (W.M. Wheeler).
- Type-depository: MCZC.
- Combination in C. (Myrmeurynota): Kempf, 1972a: 49.
