  • Type-material: holotype worker, paratype major and minor workers (numbers not stated).
  • Type-locality: holotype Saudi Arabia: Fayfa wooded valley, 27.iii.1983 (C.A. Collingwood); paratypes with same data.
  • Type-depository: NHMB (perhaps also WMLC).
  • [Note: in this publication much type-material was referred to NHMB but was apparently never deposited there.]
  • Combination in C. (Myrmotrema): Bolton, 1995b: 99.
