- fayfaensis. Camponotus fayfaensis Collingwood, 1985: 279, fig. 70 (s.w.) SAUDI ARABIA.
- Type-material: holotype worker, paratype major and minor workers (numbers not stated).
- Type-locality: holotype Saudi Arabia: Fayfa wooded valley, 27.iii.1983 (C.A. Collingwood); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depository: NHMB (perhaps also WMLC).
- [Note: in this publication much type-material was referred to NHMB but was apparently never deposited there.]
- Combination in C. (Myrmotrema): Bolton, 1995b: 99.
