    • Type-material: holotype (?) worker.

    • Type-locality: “Grand Indes”: (no further data) (Riche).
    • [Note: all authors from Smith, F. 1858b: 16, have interpreted “Grand Indes” as India, but it may indicate the larger islands of the modern Malaysia + Indonesia.]
    • Type-depository: unknown (perhaps MRSN or MNHN, but probably no longer in existence).
