  • basuto. Camponotus (Tanaemyrmex) basuto Arnold, 1958: 125, figs. 6, 6a-c (s.w.) LESOTHO.
    • Type-material: holotype major worker, paratype major (?) and minor workers (numbers not stated).
    • Type-locality: holotype Lesotho (“Basutoland”): Molepi (= Mopeli) stream, 8400 ft (G. Arnold); paratypes with same data.
    • Type-depositories: SAMC (holotype); BMNH, SAMC (paratypes).
    • Status as species: Bolton, 1995b: 88.
    • Distribution: Lesotho.
