    • Type-localities: Grenada: Grand Etang, 1910 (C.T. Brues) (invalid restriction of type-locality by Kempf, 1972a: 60; no lectotype designated), Grenada: Richmond Hill, 1910 (C.T. Brues).
    • Type-depository: MCZC.
    • Combination in C. (Myrmothrix): Emery, 1925b: 108.
    • Subspecies of abdominalis: Emery, 1925b: 108; Kempf, 1972a: 60; Hashmi, 1973: 120 (status uncertain); Brandão, 1991: 336.
