- armeniacus. Camponotus micans subsp. armeniacus Arnol'di, 1967: 1828, figs. 3, 4 (s.w.q.m.) ARMENIA.
- Type-material: holotype major worker, 10 paratype major and minor workers, 3 paratype queens 3 paratype males.
- Type-locality: holotype Armenia: vic. Yerevan, 1961 (G.M. Dlussky); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depository: ZMUM.
- Subspecies of micans: Arakelian, 1994: 86; Bolton, 1995b: 86.
