- Type-material: holotype worker, paratype workers, paratype queens (numbers not stated).
- Type-locality: holotype Nicaragua: Región Autónoma del Atlántico Norte, PN Cerro Saslya, 13.76939, -84.98383 ±10 m., 360 m., 7.v.2011, mature wet forest, sifted leaf litter (LLAMA, Wa-D-02-1-02); paratypes with same data, paratypes with same data but(Wa-D-02-1-01).
- Type-depositories: CASC (holotype); DZUP, MCZC, UCDC, USNM (paratypes).
- Distribution: Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua.
