- Type-material: holotype worker, 2 paratype workers.
- Type-locality: holotype Nepal: Phulchoki, 2800 m., 30.v.1983 (M. Brendell); paratypes with same data.
- Type-depositories: BMNH (holotype); BMNH, MCZC (paratypes).
- Status as species: Liu, X. & Xu, 2011: 738 (in key); Bharti, Gul & Sharma, 2012a: 328 (in key).
- Distribution: Nepal.
